- I have followed Spirit and Opportunity from the beginning. I love the names, the achievements, the surprises and I can't help thinking of them as people, so help me. That's projection, I suppose. Now Opportunity has arthritis? And Spirit died of hypothermia? I am not the only one.

- Asbestos was required by governments in buildings, especially schools, because of fire risk. Then, when all kinds of buildings throughout the land, in every city, had asbestos insulation and tiles etc., the govt required the asbestos be taken out for health reasons.

- If we give up on drugs as our therapy of choice, pharma ( and all aligned with it, which is a lot of enterprise including scientific and schools) will be pretty much out of business. It is not is their best interest to get us looking for other solutions for diseases.

- Another article I read said that some generic drugs are in shortage also. If the generic seller isn't making enough on a drug, the company drops it. Nobody can force a generic company to continue producing a drug. And they don't even have to recover development and testing costs.
